Logan and Jasmine finished school on Tuesday. So far we have…
Been on a family bike ride
Watched several family movies (and avoided the rain)
Been out to the library
Been out to the river, picnicking and fishing with nets
I also had a lovely day out with Jo on Tuesday for her birthday. We visited the Palatine on Morecambe prom and ate the world’s largest cheese board. Leo enjoyed it too.
I am storing up plenty of activities for next week- canal boat ride, visit to a nature reserve and making badges are just a few.
Today we picked up our rescue chickens. They’ve been named Radar, Lulu and Jean Gray. Can you guess which one belongs to X-men mad Logan?
Hopefully we’ll start getting eggs soon. I’ll be including egg collecting in the daily routine- great learning for children and of course eggs can be used to make cakes 🙂
Hi, I’m Chris. I’m a Dad of three and work as a childminder in South Lancaster.
My eldest two enjoying our mini-Olympics
I’m OFSTED registered, and have a paediatric first aid certificate.
I currently have vacancies available, both part-time and full-time. Please give me a ring for details or to arrange a visit to my home- contact details are given in the sidebar.
I am a firm believer in child-led play. Children in my care enjoy exploratory and investigative activities, lots of outdoor play, social time at clubs and groups, visits to farms, parks and the library. We bake, grow vegetables, do plenty of messy play and read. All activities are mapped to the EYFS to ensure all children progress along their learning journey.
I have a 7-seater car and a clean driving licence.
I’ll be using this blog to share information about Chris Marriott Childminding and my life as a Dad.
